How Wildcomb Began

It all started with the ‘Isabelle sign’. We had moved into a fixer upper and were renovating our children’s rooms. I had a vision for a shiplap, floral sign for our daughters room and couldn’t find what I was looking for so I took to the scroll saw to cut her name and the florals, I asked Andy to construct a shiplap style backboard and we fell in love with the result.

A couple of months later, as we saw the costs of our adoption rising, we thought we would list the sign on Etsy and see if we could sell a few to help fund our adoption. You all loved it and we loved working with you to make each one unique. We started making our other kids sign designs and listing those too and the rest is history. In a few short months we had, had the opportunity to create over a thousand signs for your homes and found a new full time occupation we love.
